Andrew Marr, PGA
Andrew was born in Troon, Scotland and began playing golf at the young age of 8. By the age of 12, he was playing competitively throughout the UK. He attended Myerscough College then the University of Central Lancashire where he began teaching junior golfers. In the summer of 2000, Andrew had the opportunity to teach at the Julian Krinsky School of Golf in Philadelphia, PA and continued to grow his skills as a teacher over the next three summers. In 2005 , he became the Co-Director of the JK Golf School and made his way across the pond full time. Following his time at Julian Krinsky School of Golf, Andrew became an instructor at GolfTec Philadelphia and was head coach for both the Baldwin School and Mount St. Joe’s girls’ high school varsity golf teams. Andrew made the move to year-round golf in sunny San Diego in early 2011. Currently he is the head coach for the Bishop School’s varsity golf program and Director of Instruction and Operations at GolfTEC San Diego.
